Adventures Unplanned

If everything goes to plan, I could be in Slovenia in a couple of months. I'm sure there would be the pretence of climbing mountains but my lungs probably won't be up for going up to any altitudes that a lift couldn't serve anyway.

With this in mind, what better time than to start looking for a fashion hiking boot? The paradox is unreal. But they look great.

The one below is from EMU Australia and has some serious Jane Goodall vibes going on.

In case you didn't know, Jane was a pioneer in the research of animalistic and chimp behaviour during the 1960s as well as being a 24/7 babe herself. She spent years integrating herself into the guarded communities of apes in Tanzania and her studies fostered some of the most significant breakthroughs in our understanding of primate behaviour. She witnessed first hand not only the intimacy of life within the chimp families but also the barbarity of intespecies cannibalism and the heart breaking deaths of animals she became close to during her 45 year study.

She still travels round the world advocating a better understanding into the preservation and reverence for the primates' way of life, but also generally keeping it real.

Check out her TED talk and learn to love her too. She also takes that stuffed monkey everywhere- a woman after my own heart.
